Home for Good, the Continuum of Care, and our Partner Agencies work from a client By-Name List. This By-Name List is a real-time list of people experiencing homelessness in our community. The list is monitored and updated daily to ensure everyone’s needs are being met and that no one gets lost in the system. The By-Name List has proven to be an effective tool in our mission. During the month of December, 2021, the average number of people on the By-Name List was 363. According to the By-Name List data and client-shared information, we can share the data for living situation and household type. The percentages reflected in the graphs are based on the average number of 363 individuals experiencing homelessness.

Point In Time Count Data

Despite COVID-19 and the incredible difficulties it placed on our community, especially for those most vulnerable, Home for Good increased outreach and, together with our partners, reduced the number of people experiencing homelessness.

2020 Point In Time Count

Thank you to all that participated in the 2019 Point In Time Count. We appreciate your time and effort. We could not do this work without you.

Thank you to our Co-Chairs Holli Browder, Director of the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department, and Curtis Lockette, Captain with the Muscogee County Marshal’s office.
